Beatrice is a Ph.D. candidate in Art History and Cultural Studies at University of Bucharest, “Space, Image, Text, Territory” Doctoral School. Her dissertation investigates art collecting during the interwar period. Her work has been supported by numerous fellowships and grants in Rome, Sapienza Università di Roma and in Venice at Istituto Romeno di Cultura e Ricerca Umanistica. Prior to her doctoral studies, Beatrice earned her BA in History of Art and Theory from Bucharest National University of Arts, and an MA – summa cum laude – in cultural studies & Art History from University of Bucharest.
